Acai Bowl | Spotlight On The Menu

Posted by Sarah Klacik on

Grown in the Amazon, Acai (ah-sah-EE) is a reddish-purple Palm fruit known as a "Super Food. It's packed full of antioxidants, fiber and heart-healthy fats, and is a good source of iron, calcium, magnesium and vitamin A.

Acai Bowls are a popular treat on the North Shore, using acai sorbet. While it is traditionally served with granola and fresh fruit, the sky is the limit with how you want to top it.
