"The Coconater" | Spotlight On The Menu

Coffee Gallery Coconater Mocha

Available hot or iced, the "Coconater" (a mocha with a hint of coconut) is one of our most popular espresso drinks. The "secret ingredient" is our housemade chocolate sauce, and you can taste the difference. The coconut compliments it well, making it just what you want in hand, sitting on a beach under a palm tree.

How to make it at home:

What you need for a 16 oz drink:

1-2 TBS chocolate sauce, to taste
1-4 pumps coconut syrup, to taste
2 shots espresso, or 6 oz. strongly brewed coffee
12-16 oz. milk of your choice
Ice (for an iced Coconater)

To prepare a hot Coconater, heat 14 oz of milk to 140-160deg. If you like foam on the top, you can use a milk frother. (Find one here.)

Prepare espresso (or strongly brewed coffee), and mix the chocolate sauce & coconut syrup in, so it incorporates more thoroughly. Pour your frothed milk in, and enjoy!

---

For an iced Coconater, prepare espresso (or strongly brewed coffee), and mix the chocolate sauce & coconut syrup in, so it incorporates more thoroughly. Fill 16 oz cup 2/3 full with ice, and cover with milk. Stir espresso/chocolate sauce into the iced milk, and enjoy.
